You must have a good standard of general education and an aptitude for practical subjects. You should have, or expect to achieve a minimum of three GCSEs/Standard Grades, or equivalent, at grade C or above in Mathematics, English and a Science based subject.

Yes, all new employees undergo a medical check prior to starting. Your offer of an apprenticeship will be subject to satisfactory completion of the medical. Most divisions include a drugs and alcohol test as part of the medical.
