Babcock manages large inventories of Land, Sea and Air
equipments under performance based, asset availability contracts
for the Ministry of Defence. Our contracts range from high volume
'demand to supply' transactions against agreed catalogues, to lower
volumes of higher complexity items against installed availability
contracts on operational Royal Navy ships and submarines. We also
manage and operate unique facilities for the overhaul, upgrade,
test and set to work of complex weapon systems as part of a number
of contracting for availability arrangements.
Our skilled teams of engineers and technicians not only provide
land based services such as project management, post design,
repairs, warehousing and logistics, but also 24/7 support to the
installed equipment through our UK technical help desks or on site,
anywhere in the World, at very short notice.
