- The risk of meeting KPIs such as stock out and non-supply are
transferred from the customer to Equipment Solutions
- Equipment Solutions takes responsibility for the complete
management of our customer's stock of assets, managing these either
from its own stores or on a 'virtual' basis from our customers'
stores
- Equipment Solutions undertakes the ranging and scaling of
spares using past spares demand history and future equipment
operating profiles, and then manages the supply chain to ensure
that the required spares are kept on the shelf or ordered when
required for delivery to the Fleet
- Equipment Solutions manages the spares through the repair loop
and reduces repair arising by instigating product improvement
programmes to maximise the reliability of the equipment
- Equipment Solutions is incentivised to reduce cost of
ownership; this is achieved by scrutinising every element of the
management of the assets to deliver value for money savings
