Site acquisition, planning and property services

Mast and tower solutions

Network equipment installation and commissioning

Babcock provides installation, commissioning, integration, swap-out and de-commissioning services for 2G and 3G mobile networks, WiMAX and other wireless technologies.  These services can be individually integrated into any network roll-out programme or offered as part of Babcock's turnkey engineering service, providing the customer with complete control over their cash flow and capital investment.

Network equipment swap out programmes

Core switching services

Babcock offers an end-to-end service, from switch design and planning, through to switch installation and commissioning, and network switch upgrades and support.  Highly experienced engineers provide these services using most equipment types allowing the customer to choose the best equipment supplier for their specific needs.

Network support services

Babcock ensures that customers are kept on air and informed of the condition of their infrastructure. The Service Support Centre manages planned and reactive fault call-out activity, providing management reports, online and in real time.  The field technicians provide a variety of services in both emergency and planned maintenance scenarios, minimising the probability of faults and repairing them quickly when they occur.  The technicians, in turn, are supported by an efficient nationwide storage and logistics service. This ensures they have the right equipment in the right place at the right time.
