Signalling & Telecommunications project management and
engineering
Project management and project engineering skills provide a central
point of contact with single responsibility for the client. Our
organisation structure is flexible allowing us to meet clients
project specific needs. Our professional engineers combine in-depth
technical knowledge with practical experience to ensure that our
signalling and telecommunications solutions are the most
appropriate, having thoroughly assessed the available technology
and materials, as well as the existing infrastructure.
Signalling & Telecommunications Design
We have an experienced signalling design group within the UK,
totalling approximately 52 competent and experienced designers
based in our Hamilton, Crewe, Manchester and Birmingham offices.
All of our designers are either IRSE licensed or working toward
Licence under mentorship, providing design solutions in all areas
of signalling such as: scheme development, outline design, detailed
signalling design, level crossing design, lineside solutions and
interlocking solutions.
Our Communications business has 18 experienced
telecommunications designers located in Hamilton and York. All of
our designers are either IRSE licensed or working toward Licence
under mentorship, providing design solutions in all areas of
Railway Telecommunications such as scheme development, outline
design, detailed design and operational comms (including
Concentrator Renewals, Lineside Communications solutions, PETS,
Voice Recorders, Radio Control Systems and DOO CCTV).
Quality and innovation is delivered for both disciplines via our
strong technical management teams who review and direct our design
operations.
Signalling Systems
Our experienced Signalling Systems section and can offer complete
turnkey solutions in the field of innovative and standard
electronic systems. We also provide valuable support for existing
systems infrastructure with our services extending to independent
technical investigations, asset surveys, systems integration,
troubleshooting and high level maintenance.
Signalling & Telecommunications Installation
Our BSI registered signalling construction Group has a large, well
established and renowned workforce that forms an integrated part of
the project delivery team. Our teams are based in Glasgow, Preston
and Crewe and are highly competent, with IRSE licensed teams
delivering all projects to the clients' specifications and to our
own and client stringent safety standards. Wide and varied
experience includes successful installations and support for
commissioning in areas such as mechanical, relay interlocking,
geographical interlocking and solid state interlocking.
Our BSI registered telecoms construction group is based from
Hamilton & York. Our IRSE licensed teams have a strong track
record in delivering all projects to the clients'
specifications.

commissioning
Our testing sections are highly qualified and are uncompromising in
ensuring that we commission safe installations compliant with all
specifications and standards. All our staff are highly skilled and
IRSE licensed to ensure that all testing and commissioning is
carried out without compromise. Our staff are strategically based
