John Howie Managing Director John began his career in 1989 with British Aerospace Regional Aircraft and spent 7 years with the company in a variety of commercial and project management roles. His first taste of the Naval world came when he joined Yarrow Shipbuilders in late 1995. He joined Babcock International Group in April 2001 as Managing Director of for Babcock Naval Services Ltd, where he has successfully secured a £4000million contract to provide specialist support services at HMNB Clyde. |

Craig Lockhart Fleet Services Director Craig completed his apprenticeship with Babcock spending the final year in the management-streaming programme enabling a transition straight into the management sector of the dockyard. Following ten years in the Nuclear Engineering department then two years in Safety Justification, he completed a move back to Nuclear Engineering being appointed as Project Manager for the Steam Generator renewal on HMS Sceptre. He was appointed Senior Development Engineering in 1999 where he was heavily involved in the reengineering of Rosyth Dockyard processes. |

Sally MacAdie Human Resource & Crew Services Director Sally joined the John Lewis Partnership Graduate Training Scheme after she attained her degree at University in Edinburgh. She remained there for several years before taking up the position of Human Resource Manager at Thurso College. From there, she was asked to join Rolls-Royce plc at the Dounreay site then relocating to the Rolls-Royce plant in East Kilbride in 2000. Sally joined Babcock Naval Services in May 2004 and whilst being an HR generalist, Sally specialises in employee relations and change management. |

Kenny Douglas Business Services Director Having completed his degree in accountancy Kenny began his career, in 1990, with BDO Binder Hamlyn (now BDO Stoy Hayward). At BDO Kenny primarily worked in their audit team and during this time gained his qualification as a chartered accountant. One of the bigger audits he was involved with during this time was that of Babcock at Rosyth. He was asked to join Babcock Support Services (formerly BRDL) in 1994 as a project accountant. Progression from this role through programme accountant to financial controller happened over the course of the next few years. In the role of programme accountant he oversaw the financial performance and control of all projects at Rosyth. |

Dr. Neil Grant Operations Director Neil is an electronics engineer who began his career with Barr & Stroud Ltd (Thales) then moved to the board of Yarrow's as Technical then Operations Director, ending up as Marine Planning Director for Glasgow & Barrow. His most recent role, before joining BNS in 2005 was as Operations Director for Coherent Scotland, a U.S. high-tech laser design and manufacturing outfit. Neil is a Visiting Professor at Strathclyde University and a member of the Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT). |
