Engineered Products completed the design and manufacture of 1200 building service modules for Heathrow’s Terminal 5. Taking the concept design and developing the design for manufacture, we fabricated and tested the complex building service modules in Rosyth prior to transporting them to the Terminal 5 site. This was the largest off-site construction project ever carried out in the UK and it was implemented using alliance principles

Terminal 5 work has become the benchmark for all such future major construction projects. We have developed the template for this type of offsite construction and are involved in a number of other such projects

An example of our ongoing involvement with modular construction is the project currently ongoing to design and manufacture pre-fabricated plant rooms for the new Birmingham Hospital under construction
