BD&T have many years experience in all forms of Dimensional Control involving Offshore Oil & Gas Platforms, Petrochemical Installations, Subsea Structures, Floating Production Supply Offshore Vessels, Floating Production Units and also the Royal Naval Fleet.
Our capabilities range from basic technical field surveys to state of the art 3D laser scanning on large constructions to small accurate installations.
The broad range of techniques we cover include:-
- Technical Field Surveys,
- Semi Automated Measurements; for replacement and manufacturing of replacement pipe spools including Steel work manufacture,
- Alignment Surveys; make use of sub-millimetre accurate equipment during Ship and Vessel upgrades,
- 3D laser scanning; used on a variety of offshore and land based projects.
BD&T adopted the latest laser mapping technology to collect and interpret data to provide clients with the most cost effective and appropriate solutions to surveying, modelling and engineering problems.
