BES plays a leading role in supporting the Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary Fleet, encompassing the refit and upkeep of aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates and other vessels. Our design and technology business develops and delivers innovative, high-value IT based design, engineering and asset management solutions, both direct to a wide variety of customers and in support of our other businesses. We design construct, test and commission specialist modules and systems, such as the energy centre, utility tunnels, air handling units, chimney modules and fresh air plant rooms designed and built for Heathrow Terminal 5, and also provide extensive logistical and supply chain support for major construction projects in oil and gas.
