Babcock offers a range of technical “Modern Apprenticeships” at a range of locations. The programmes may vary from division to division, but are all designed to deliver high quality craftsmen and craftswomen with at least 2 nationally accredited qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 (England & Wales) or SVQ Level 3 (Scotland)
  
  
• Technical Certificate at Level 3 (Either a City and Guilds Level 3, BTEC National Certificate or SQA National Certificate (Scotland)).

All of our programmes provide a balance of practical “on the job” training within the business and academic training (delivered in conjunction with local colleges). After 31/2 years dependent on programme, you will be awarded a modern apprenticeship.

For those individuals who have demonstrated the appropriate balance of personal motivation, technical ability and leadership, you may be given the opportunity to continue your studies and progress onto the BTEC National Diploma or Higher National Certificate or beyond.
