Nuclear Outage Management

Babcock has been providing a successful Nuclear Outage Management service for almost 40 years. We are immensely proud of our 250-strong team who are able to provide full turnkey capability, from initial concept design through to site operations. We are also uniquely placed to draw upon additional skills within the business where there is a nuclear-related manpower resource of over 750 SQEP Nuclear staff.

Providing an unrivalled level of service for our clients is always a top priority. We are specialists in installation, testing and commissioning of nuclear plant systems and equipment, and have worldwide experience across the board. From the outset, we place great importance on the maintenance, refurbishment and upgrading of existing nuclear plants and systems, ensuring operators can keep them running safely and economically. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for many of our clients, Babcock has a depth of knowledge which other competitors find difficult to provide.

Testimonial
“Brilliantly done. What an outstanding performance. You did what you agreed to do, you did it on time, and to the right quality levels. In addition the level and standard of daily reporting has been a model for others to follow on similar critical projects. What’s more, you did the work to a programme which was revised at the last moment and using equipment never deployed at HPB before.” Peter Neumann, British Energy.
